started to paint engine now...so guys,how am i putting this back in without scratchin it,or the frame??

You will need help (a couple of m8s). What I deed when I had my frames painted was: I wraped pieces of tshirt around the tubes holding them with masking tape, worked really wel. Keep in mind that the paint has to be fully dry. On ther other hand theese lumps are heavy bastards, small scratches can be always touched up (and on black is easy)

I asked this a few years ago and followed advice from someone on here. I did it myself quite easily without scratching using an old gym mat. I stripped the frame right back though to make it lighter, and you may not want to take the wheels etc off again? I wrapped the vulnerable areas in cheap thin modelling foam I got from the pound shop held on by masking tape. Laid the engine on its side on the mat, supporting it with bits of wood wrapped in old towels. Dropped the frame onto the engine and bolted it in. If there are two of you that would make it easier - my 8 year old son was quite useful for holding things still while I worked things out.
I think your Gs is looking great so far, by the way,

engine painted..casings off to powder coaters now.. black with new emblems,stainless fixings..happy days..
