Having my Gs turbo'd at the minute in fact nearly finished, couple of people have ? on having Rs's fitted now i'm told the fella building it is bang on with his builds and knows his stuff??

The only issue you may find is the slides hanging up if you try to close the throttle with high boost on. Mikuni's do rattle a bit due to the fit and can stick with pressure on the slide - Keihin FCR's have rollers so are a lot smoother and less likely to suffer from 'sticksion'

Turbo with flatslides is possible, but I would prefer as small as possible ones. And I would only use roller slide carbs for this app!!

Cheers nitro going to run lowish boost 7psi to start with stu crane who's building it reckons when the boost is wound right up may cause an issue, going on dyno next week hopefully

Flatsides off gixer carbs back on Rs's were 40mm couldn't get them to run lean enough been on dyno today for first run should get it back this week

Turbo is finished and goes like kin stink well happy, shake down at north weald tomorrow for test and tune
