it sounded lovely when it came past my house not far behind it was a mint rd400e with small bean can microns like my old 400e I love rd250/400e/f models

Had two of them in the eighties, last one had a braced frame, uprated front and rear suspension/brakes and wheels. Katana tank and single seat unit, a twin headlight full race fairing , clip ons and rearsets plus expansion pipes and a tr750 spec engine tune.
Bloody thing was petrol cooled it would absolutely fly (but was still slower than the katana), on a good day it would struggle to manage 18 mpg

bet that sound superior ! looks like a DUNSTALL fairing -legend has it the paul dunstall designed wind cheater took the already lardy GT70 up to bang on the 1000kgs mark
