Well this is my first GSXR Slabsides and as with many of my motorcycles it unexpectedly came out of the blue! It was originally a 85 Japanese spec 750 that was imported to the UK a fair few years later. Seems to have passed through quite a few hands but the motor seems very sound. Later Divvy wheels with a billet top yoke. Quite like the riding position but haven't decided on which way to go with the styling. Plans are just to enjoy it over the summer down here in the South East of England and then see. The Diablo tyres are very sticky, though they do take time to warm up. Wondering what they'll be like in the rain! Bike handles really well, had to put a DB killer into the cheap can as it was way too loud, as in stop me and give me hassle by the police loud. Yes it also has a loud colour scheme, apparently some company colour scheme from a past owner. But then it's easy to find in a car park. MadamB has decided to call it the Minion for some reason. As for me, well I ride anything with two wheels and have been for more years than I'd care to admit. I've signed up for tech info and to see what others have done with their Slabsides. So let the fun commence!
