hi there, a question for any gsxf750 owners past or present. As i am currently loving our typical wet and windy summer I find that sidewinds really catch and push the bike over the road. Has anyone else experienced this as the last time i felt this was when i owned my vfr 750. Just interested to find anything out thanks.

Nowt to do with the GSX specifically, any bike with a fairing will suffer in a sidewind mate

The set up is on the hard side ( at that moment as an all year set up would always be a compromise)

Didn't kawasaki have an issue with side winds on the first zzr1100...was blamed on the front mudguard being too enclosed I believe:-/

Always had bad problems with wind on my slabby 750 - was so bad once a despatch rider who happened to be in a van (because of the weather) sheltered me the last 30 miles of my journey down the M1 - could barely keep the bike upright. Never notice wind on my Bandit 1200 (naked) - that's the bike I use for serious miles these days, the slabby is for perfect weather.

Hi again, experimenting with the bike, swapped the touring screen back to standard but minimal change. Hmmmm... so next think i was thinking was remove bellypan (still looks ok) to cut a bit of surface area down. I have as suggested changed the suspension settings. I am enjoying all this in a way as I dont have any other projects to play with at the moment. Funny though I was out with the daughter and she was riding her XJ600N unfaired and it was really noticeable in the 30mph winds who moved the most - me! lol
