Paid through PayPal not eBay so no cover of not as described :/ wish I knew where he lived... How did you find this seller in the first place? Was he selling on ebay? You might be able get a mate to see if he has anything else for sale and get his address for pick up.

I'd be having a word with the seller. "Mint forks" ? Pitted legs and wrong yoke. Hmmmm. Good point. Sounds like one of those sellers that throws all the spare rubbish from leftovers projects together and calls it a complete front end. And this practice seems to be getting worse. Noticing it on ebay alot more where sellers try to act 'all innocent' and don't know a whole lot about the stuff they're trying to shift, which is a load of bollocks. Always bring a verniers calipers and a steel foot ruler with you when going to look at a front end so you can size up forks etc I remember going to look at a 1127 USD front end. After a long drive it turned out to be a shagged set of 750 forks with Kwacker yokes, knackered calipers and a straight spoke (wrong) wheel with a big ding on the rim. Slightly pissed off would be an understatement. He had told me over the phone it was a perfect 1100 front end and was after a good sum for it too. Go back to this cowboy and tell him exactly what he sold you and what you should have got and get a refund. Put the refund in to the right front end. Tell me about it I'm so annoyed! Shame he posted so I can't go to him. Sent him loads of texts but he's stopped responding :/ gonna have to sell the bits on accurately described and accept the money loss :/ yokes seem hard to obtain too

Go with the info you do have. You have his email address from when you sent the payment through Paypal. Start with googling that and see what pops up. You also have his mobile number, google that too. Worth a shot, there may be even an address among the results.

How you paid doesn't matter when goods are not as described.

How you paid doesn't matter when goods are not as described. I think the problem is trying to get a hold of the seller first.

Seems a bit strange how he has a 100% rating if he was more than happy to sell you something so clearly wrong:-/
