Guys, does anyone here have any experience with pattern air filter elements made by HiFlo?. Is the quality as good as genuine Suzuki?. Will I need to mess about with re-jetting if I buy one?. I see there's a massive difference in price, around £15 for the HiFlo from WEMOTO against £41 for a genuine Suzuki from CMSNL. I really need to save some cash buying stuff like this as the budget's already getting out of control

Them are as good and restrictive as the genuine ones for a fraction of money

That's good to know, I was wondering the same thing myself recently.. I've heard plenty of people who say they will "only use suzuki genuine oil filters" etc.. but was unsure if the same applied to other spares such as air filters

Hoping to buy the more boring bits (such as this) as cheaply as possible so I can increase what I have for the sexier stuff like new shocks. I've heard plenty of people who say they will "only use suzuki genuine oil filters" etc.. but was unsure if the same applied to other spares such as air filters I'm a genuine oil filter only man myself, but willing to give most other stuff a try if a bikes reliability isn't compromised and funds are a bit tight

I will confess to being a genuine filter only man, but only because of what I use the bike for. I use other filters on other bikes without an issue too.

It's only used on track, so a failing oil filter is not an option.

By the way genuine Suzuki oil filters are made in china. Bet their manufacture is overseen by Suzuki Japan bods though and not built to typical Chinese standards. Good to know the Hiflo oil filters have proved themselves on your bike.
