Anyone switched switches from the EFE/Katana style to something that was better designed? My right switch has bust and I may have to fit a unit from a different bike if I can't repair or replace like-for-like. I still use a standard, single throttle cable so I was also wondering if many of the units from later bikes would accept the EFE cable.
Cheers for any interest, Dezza.

Wiring isn't that difficult as the functions are the same. The efe/kat has a separate pilot light circuit from the main lighting circuit. Not all bikes have this and it will be much easier to replace with a switch from a bike that has it. The housing also has a thread to take the stock, single throttle cable. The stock efe left switch takes a bar mounted choke cable so it may differ slightly to the kat unit. Some GSXRs have a bar mounted choke but the lever is different although the cable may fit. Anyone know? The individual that designed the combination indicator/dip switch on the left efe/kat unit should have been sacked. What was that all about? I hate mine and I don't even have indicators.
