Remember, it is only a forum ffs, not the holder of the Ark of the covenant. We've all got opinions, they're like arseholes, we've all got one.

Ok. First off, I'm not au fait with who's who's in terms of site owners/mods etc etc but from what I gather, some people have been working hard behind the scenes to secure the rights etc to resurrect the old OSS site. From the drift of things I get the impression that this included where the site must follow the ethos of the original and stick to it's values etc.
Am I right ?
If so. Why was the old site starting to show some major cracks and getting heavy handed at times ?
Maybe because it wasn't what people wanted ? Things change and new bikes become old, cheap enough for us to hack/mod/turbo and generally mess about with. Is it Oldskoolsuzuki or Timecapsulesuzuki ?
How about a compromise of Rollingcutofskoolsuzuki ? Allowing newer stuff in as it becomes old including correct age engines in other frames. Caveat being, if it's at the new end of the scale, we like it modded.
As things stand,my:
B12. Stock bodywork, 916 forks, billet yokes, 6 pot AP's with narrow band discs, PVM's, Full Akro, braced arm, Ti clock mounts, torque arm, footrest mounts, etc,etc,etc,.............
GSXR750wp, My own steel tube frame, spoke wheels, ali tank, big chrome clocks and headlight all in an 80's style etc, etc.
Will just scrape in like the mate of a mate to a party.

Boring.. Why should we have to move. OSS.info fucked us over last time, and Ash and people saved the day and put this together for us. Now we are been told we have to move or become extinct. sorry for boring you but I didn't know the old site so can't really understand the problem hence why I likened this to a situation I knew. when you say the old site fucked you over what do you mean??

Are you rely that self centred, just cos a post follows yours doesn't mean to say its about you.

I'd say post what you like and let them sort it out. You'll soon learn what they don't like. Not that I'm condoning postings of other motorcycles you understand, that would get me banned.

Don't over think it man, it'll be fine. The depth of knowledge about the bikes in question is (will be) invaluable, and often transferable. I can remember a similar situation when I was quite cross about why I couldn't use my '76 Bultaco in Pre '65 Trials at our local trials (it was the mid '80s), it was after all quite an old bike. Genuine comment, it really will be fine
