my mate Saulius has the same Koso on his Turbo 1100M. It's some very good bit of kit.

Chinese knockoffs don't like vibrations. Had one on my xj600. after few thousand miles the tach needle became a little loose; it worked OK but looked like the center thing, maybe the servo itself hopped about. It also had a tendency to forgot mileage and clock from time to time, and did this out of the box. In the mornings I often discovered condensation inside the clock, so yes, they aren't very weatherproof either. But then again, they're just $30?

Good to know, so lots of anti-vibration measures.... But yeah can buy 9 for same price as an original!

There was a saying for that also, something like "not rich enough to buy cheap things"

I just received my new speedo, if you really want something smart then google the motogadget moto pro, seriously smart bit of kit
Ive had a couple of danmoto speedos, the lil rectangluar ones are quite good, the biggest issue I found was that on the cheap ones the viewing angle was very narrow and always at a stupid angle, so it has to sit funny on the bike to let you view it.
