I got a pretty good finish from PJ1 rattle cans, got them from M&P if I remember correctly, worked out about 12 quid each though so not cheap

Couldn't help but notice you have exhaust studs rather than bolts... are they standard or somethin' you did?

Boiler engines usually have bolts as far as I'm aware. On my slabby I have a stud and bolt combination in each port- it means I can hang and locate the exhaust on the studs first, much much easier. I'd go full studs if there was enough space to get a nut on, but there isn't, so the combination works really well.

Thanks mate, I wonder if all studs may be possible on frame other than a slabby?... will check out the spacing situation with mine later
