Hi everyone, new to the forum having purchased a 1993 750. Can anyone tell me if a more modern rear shock will fit this bike, say K6/K7, coz mine is a real shocker. All the best Dave.

Hi mate I have the same year bike and its fitted with a k1gsxr 1000 shock...all I did was spin the top shock mount 180 degrees...you'll need to trim the battery box too
The k1,2,3 and 4 1000's are the same bar colour The k5/6 fits as will the 07/08 but not sure if you need to mod anything
Hope this helps

Nice one Rusty, will probably go for it did the same on my 400. Best mod for the money. Only asked because I haven't measured the shock length yet and thought there might have been a straight transplant. All the best Dave.

Been thinking about that S1000RR shock swap that some slingshot owners have reported to be success... but unable to find eye-to-eye measurement of these?
