got a old 1990 750 looking at replacing the down pipes I seem to remember people fitting k1 down pipes with a bit of bending was the 750 or 1000 downpipes

Even although it's going on a 750 The spacing on the oil cooled is the same. The most near spacing of the k series is from k1,2 1000, all the others dont match or have connected headers.

k3-k4 also fits, k5 has connected headers so its more difficult

There is the model transition on the k3/4, I guess thats why is more secuur to say k1/2.

fbatblokeonbandit, these don't look like 4-2-1 system as standard on these bikes... (k1-k4) but they're modified?
