Done a few hundred miles on my B12 since I sorted my carb problem, and I have to say, I'm not liking it much. Nothing wrong with the bike, it's spot on now, it's me. I'm getting a real itch for another green laner which isn't helping B12 anyone ?

Once upon a time, when I was younger, fitter and dafter, I had a load of supermoto's - Husky's, XR650's, a CCM 644DS, loads of XT600's. I love big singles, also did green laning quite a lot, so it's nothing I haven't done before. It could be a bit more painful now I'm fat and arthritic, and have a glassback though

I'd say, give your Bandit a chance. They're a bit of a bus but if you fiddle about suspension heights, settings and fork oil you can make them ok enough for a bit of fun. With a good pipe the motor just gives it's best in that range that you really use on the road, well into "Instant Ban! territory. Fiddle about with it a bit and the old dear may just put an easy smile on your face.

Nothing wrong with the bike, it's spot on now, it's me. Bluedog, Bugger says the bike is ok. I understand him. However nice a well sorted streetbike is, sometimes it just doesn't "do" it, and an enduro is often the solution. Some of my friends have done the same and won't even think about a streetbike anymore.

It's already been fiddled with, it has a nice pipe, and good quality suspension already fitted, but it's not exciting me. To be honest, the last few roadbikes I've owned haven't excited me either. That may be down to the fact that they have all been more or less the same thing, but that's what I like, or not....
Supermoto's and greenlining have always made me grin like a kid, and that's what I'm missing.

Duuno if you've ever seen this guy's vlogs on the tube Dave but his husky 900 seems like a pretty good all-rounder... if such a thing exists RJ Youtube
