Hi to all I've just got a 1984 Suzuki gsx 750 es and hope to restore it and have some fun on it . I'm new to this site and been reading your story's . I was looking for a cheep bike to restore and came across this one for £600 I haggle the guy and got it for £500 it's mot to February 2016 with 21k it's in pretty good order for 31 years old it will need the all the Crome bits polish up and few of the black parts painted and new rear tyre . Im having problems wiring up new led indicators on the rear the ones I've took of only had one wire and the new ones have 2 any help would be great
Welcome fella... got a lot of bike for yer money there mate.. well done
Seems those LED indicators are troublesome little b'stards.. dunno cos I've never used 'em. It sounds as if the original indicators only have one wire becuase they took an earth (negative) from the frame?. I assume that the LED type have one live wire (positive) and one earth... think all you'll need to do is somehow earth one of the wires to the frame?
