everything "technical" is nicely tucked away under the tank/behind the sidepanels, which makes it a real bitch to work on. One carb (for the front cilinder) stands under the fuel tank, the other carb is under the seat between the frame pipes, and balancing them is done with a cable. The battery sits between the exhaust mufflers, right in front of the rear wheel. A perfect place for collecting all kinds of crap and rusting away. The wiring from the switchgear is inside the handlebars. All the plugs (around 20 of them) sit under the tank, and corrode like hell. Mounting different handlebars implies removing all the wiring which is 20 years old by now and brittle. Then there's the mediocre brakes, crap handling, low engine power, inexistant comfort.
Like I said, don't walk away. Run.
And God promised men that good and obedient wives would be found in all corners of the world.
Then He made the earth round... and laughed and laughed and laughed...
