Hi guys. What fuel pumps and taps are you using? In tank is PITA, stock tap is broken and needs vacuum, and pingel fouls the 750 lump in the 750 frame, can't imagine what it'll be like when the 12 lump goes in. Any ideas?

I don't have a fuel tap but I've got a quick disconnect instead. Although you can get -6 taps I'm sure.
Warpspeed welded some -6 fittings onto the bottom of the tank so the lines fit snug under it.

Ta bud. That's food for thought.
Come to think of it, surely I could just make a fuel tap block that didn't have a tap, just a 12 mm round tube that I can push a hose onto and take straight to the 12 mm inlet at my fuel pump? What you reckon?

What you reckon? Can do that but its a bastard when you need to take the tank off quickly..........and it'll always be full when the need arises! In line tap or a decent dry break fitting is better - don't use those crappy plastic things! ! !

Nice one dude. Just taken the tank into a shop to have what I said done. I'm sure you can get those clamps that cut off the fuel supply. What quick release would you recommend?

Think my quick release came from Viper Performance, or maybe Torques in the bay.
Mine sits under the tank.

I made this in place of the tap. So there there are take-off and return connections. The connectors are dry break type from Colder Products (http://www.colder.com/). Connectors flow enough for at least 400hp and they are quite handy in practice as well. They just tend to break the o-rings every now and then so better to have some spares on the shelf. For the pump one good option is Walbro GSL392. It flows enough for 300-500hp and it's significantly smaller than the Bosch 044 and draws less current. Price is quite reasonable too.

Ta guys.
Arttu, I'm Having the same thing made, but the dry breaks are gonna be half way down the hose to the pump. Nice and simple that way. I'm also going for the walbro.
Ta for all your help guys. Looks like my furling is now sorted.
Much live to you all.
