Hi I'm looking for some help/ advice. I have a gsxr750 92 it has had misfire problems for a wile so disided to take it apart and look for the problem .. New battery , plugs are fine , coils fine . Carbs have been stripped and cleaned . Fuel tap has had a rebuild . Put all back together and now the carbs are instantly flooding and pissing fuel straight out of the overflows . With tank off it fires ( although not great ) as soon as the vacume pipe goes back on instant fuel all over the floor .... What have I done wrong ( apart from touching it in the first place ) any usefull info will be greatly appreciated.

Not being funny mate but in this situation 99% of the time its something you have done so you need to go through the whole process again to find out what, having someone else hanging around thats done carb rebuilds etc & got it right usually helps, we could write an essay on what it could be but the only way to find out is to get in there

Float problem. If you take the float chamber off and hold the carb upside down check that the float rests at a flat 90°. Or that the overflow screw is adjusted right. If you've loostened them at all you may have left them full open.

did you adjust the float heights or traped one of the floats when you put the carb bowls back on. what position is the petrol tap on if it is on prime that a constant flow maybe thats why its flooding

You have connected the fuel hose from your Tap to the correct stubbs ? I.e.the inlets on the carbs.
The only reason I ask is because I have seen people with similar issues re-attach the fuel lines to the breathers between carbs 1 & 4 by mistake...
Gives it exactly the same symptoms as your describing...
Just a suggestion !!!!
Good luck.
