I have a set if GSXR1100 slabby forks that I am planning on fitting to my GS750. Is there a bolt on caliper replacement for these forks - not too bothered about disc size or offset, I can sort that out once I have the calipers in place. The caliper mounting holes are 84mm apart and 8mm diameter. If there is no direct replacement and I need to make adapter plates then I have a pair of 4 piston Nissins from a Fireblade that I can use.

If you want Nissin performance for not a of of cash, then fit the master cylinder from the 750 j/k. As long as your slabby calipers are good you will have two fingered stopping power with plenty of stoppy action Steve

Something like this will do. Slingy nissins on 750 slabby forks. Drill out the bottom mount to 10mm. I might have a copy of the drawings somewhere, but someone with more engineering knowledge might come up with a better design.

suzook12 - I don't have the slabby calipers, just the forks/yokes
gsxrcol - that looks like a very neat solution.
I've pm'd gsxhartley and he's said he will make some adaptor plates for me.

Was just about to post a query on fitting 4 or 6 pot Nissins onto what I think are early Bandit 6 forks.......are there alternative calipers? etc.....but this post has answered my question.....thanks......off to buy a slug of ally tomorrow! Happy Bunny!

Your drawing is so similar to mine! Funny how we came up with almost the same solution, although yours is executed much better by flipping the bracket around. Mine worked fine for a year but was not exposed to racing stresses.
