Thought I would give those cheap piggyback shocks that are mentioned somewhere else on the forum a go. One of my Kats has cheap shocks on it already so didn't have much to loose. Cost was £89.99 plus delivery. Came within a day of ordering. I needed the type with forks, which they came with and also some extensions. Fitting was pretty easy and they go well with the look of the bike. Haven't tried them on the road yet. Finished them off with some themed stickers.

Other than the colour the first ones look pretty much the same as what I fitted on my Katana.
I haven't tried them on the road yet, so can't recommend them or not. Ask me again in six months.

These are very good shocks and used on a lot of period 5 race bikes over here in Oz. www.gazisuspension.com/products.html I don't know if they have a UK distributor but maybe worth having an ask. I've fitted a pair of the VMX Hyper X to my ET.

I've been using them on my gs1000 and have found them pretty good. Better then the marzocchi's fitted before.
