Took the carbs off, cleaned out the 'blocked' pilot jets, cleaned some crap out of the bowls, set mixtures to 1.5 turns again, swapped out the plugs & it started on all four straight away. It didn't seem to be clicking this time BUT it's still chugging which I think is on cylinder 4 as I can really hear the chug on that carb. In fact the chugging is so pronounced the carbs actually move lol what you've described sounds exactly like the problems I've had with mine. what carbs are you using? I had mine through an ultrasonic cleaner twice as mine wouldn't flow fuel through number 4 until it was done.

just see projex do a bank of 4 disassembled for £40. Seems reasonable. I just thought buying one would be more economical.
oh, vm29's.

I'd rather chuck a match on it than do that. £40 plus postage but i'm looking again at a cleaner for an extra £30 for peace of mind. I'm a bit paranoid about sending dismantled carbs through the post. I phoned a local company that states £65 online but that became £100 over the phone, bloody con men.

Chris mcmental on the old site bought a cleaner & offered his services, did a great job on mine & he's a top bloke. I can ask him if he still does them or if you're on that Facebook, he'd no doubt be on the OSS page.

It's a shame your not closer to the south coast as I have a mate that did mine twice for £40 or my local bike shop would take them whole, dismantle them, clean them and put them back together for £50:-/
Out of intrest what jets are you using in your carbs??

I had 105's (thought I had stock) so I fitted 97.5's but that made no difference, pilots are stock 32.5
