Hi Guy`s So I`ve referb`ed my 6 pots with new seals, and now they are a nightmare to bleed. I`ve been at it for two days now and I still can`t get rid of all the air. I can get them to where I am happy with the feel of the pressure in the break leaver while the bike is at rest, but when I ride the bike the breaking feels spongy. I have replaced the front master cylinder piston seal kit and cleaned all the old fluid out, using new fresh fluid to bleed the system. Very close to pulling out what little hair I have left, looking for any tips that you guys found to work. Thanx

Have you tried cable tying the lever back to the bars overnight? Useful method for getting residual air out of the system.

On one bike I had I went with the 2 lines from the MC and put a bleeder valve banjo bolt at the MC. I was surprise there was any air at the MC but when I bleed them at there it made a big difference.

Thanx Guys Should have mentioned I have two braided lines one to each caliper. I try`d cable tying the leaver back overnight, breakes seem ok until u ride then they feel spongy. Decided to try new braided hoses got them today diy kit all in for £34.00, will fit them tomorrow. Iff that don't work I`ll try replaceing the calipers.

Had a similar problem with my 6 pots. Suspected that an air bubble was trapped where the hoses attached to the MC as this is the high point for the setup on my bike. Used the banjo bolt to bleed the joint and did get a surprising amount of air mixed with fluid. After I had bled all the air the brakes worked fine for me

I had the same problem, my breaking as a little spongy, cause i was using a 4 pots MC, i change for a TLR one, and improved 50%. Next i will change to a radial MC, and it will break like a boss. I use Busa 6 pots..

Try taking the calipers off the forkleg, putting them above the master cylinder, with the bleed nipple uppermost. Pack out between the pads with scrap plate ( replaces the width of the disc), and bleed. Sometimes gets that last little bit of air out!

Thanx Guys Tried your suggestion's but not much luck getting the breaks how I`d like them (still spongy). Did a search on *bay for braided hoses, found a listing for hoses sold in lengths. 2x 2m hose, 7x copper washers, 2x straight banjos, 2x curved banjos + all olives £34.00. Had to cut a little off the hoses for the right length per side and made the hoses up myself. Once bled they were slightly better, but will try to bleed them again next time I change the pads, only this time I`ll try them above the mc. Might have a problem though as I`ve routed the hoses behind the clocks and through the yokes.
