Since the Igor days of this bike, the sidestand was interfering with the gearshift lever. And now also with the left exhaust pipe so something had to be done. Cut off sidestand and now it's cool. Wait a minute, where am i going to park the bike if there's no wall/tree/car/someone to hold it? Welded a Slingy 750 sidestand bracket on the frame, a bit more forward: Now it's far enough away from the gearshift lever and exhaust, and not affecting cornering clearance, unlike the old one.

Not much progress here. Next week the frame and wheels will get some powder coating. Painted parts are drying in "controlled conditions" bit by bit i'm painting the engine covers, and some small brackets and stuff. Basically waiting for the frame + wheels to come back nice and shiney.

Thanks.
The build will be slow, now i have to paint/clean/pollish every small bit, don't want to put anything not 100% on the nice and shiney frame. Like the engine mounting brackets, they will be painted black.

got the exhausts back from the welder. The car sleeps inside in winter (a nice and warm car in the morning is much better than a cold covered with snow car) so Fatty resides in the storage room, next to the 7/11, when i'm not working on it.

also considering mounting EFE clocks instead of the Slingshot ones. But i don't have a real EFE headlight, so the clocks would look too big. Is there any other bike with the same style but smaller clocks?

Hey I remember the Igor bike !!
Long live the Igor bike..
I like how you go 4 days between posts & say "not much progress here", I just wait a whole year & say the same...
A thread full of EFE's what could be better !

When will you work on your EFE Alan? Looks like the Igor Fatty will be finished first after all......
