Hi all, Can you fit a 750 water cooled head on an 1100 water cooled block.
I know this can be done on the oil boilers just not sure about water cooled.
Thanks,
Si..

Why would you want to do this? 750w has smaller valves and less combustion chamber volume, so it would raise the CR too high. I assume it could be done but there wouldn't be any benefits.

Thank for the info Kristjan. I have an 1100 motor as a spare for my Bim SB6, but it doesnt have the 2 mounting bosses on the head. Noticed that more of the 750 heads have these two bosses, and appear cheeper than the 11 heads. But if valve size is smaller prob not worth the hassle. Thanks.

I was also looking for a 1995 onwards 1100 head with those extra mounting bosses this spring, but couldn't find one at all, so I bought the older one and I don't use the extra mounts on my 95 1100w any more. I still have the damaged 95 head with those extra mounting points, but it would cost a fortune to get it repaired.
