Agreed. When I have a GSX, and I will one day, it will have chunky forks and clip ons. Very tough looking bike

Two different types of sprocket covers. Don't know which one looks better. Have to drill the holes and turn the bearing seat to stabilize the shifting shaft. Will see, which one looks better on the bike.

Have to repair the M7 threads of the valve cover bolts in the camshaft holders. Had done 4 of them and then I found this: Looks like somebody tried to repair the thread in the head to tighten the camshaft holder. Bad result. Something stucks in the bottom end of the stud hole. It's so hard, that it's not possible to drill it out. Maybe a piece of a srew tap. Will have to find a good way to repair this. One step forward and two steps back.

Had exactly the same with the EFE head on the engine I have in my Katana. I bought an M7 helicoil kit to replace them all. Too many suffer the fate of previous owners who don't own a torque wrench. They are very easily overtightened.
Really nice EFE build BTW.

Everything's sorted. All M7 threads equiped with helicoils and repaired the damages thread with helicoil too.

Cool! I think it over to make a cover with a output bearing on my EF for more stabilization.

Ready to put the new wrapped wiring loom in. Don't remember how the original routing looks like, but will find out.
