If you are using a bandit for a winter hack, keep an eye on the front of the frame. Road salt eats the fuck out of the cradle and frame. Turns them to a corroded rusty mess in no time if you don't regularly wash the crap off periodically. One bad winter is enough to kill a frame if you don't.

its actually the first winter my allday ride before was a ratty-ish 650 shafty kat which i never cleaned (and it parked outside everytime) that one has the rust-problem as well..............................before the engine died with other words the bandit (which also parks under the moon ) should get a good cleanup once in a month ( thats the plan )
