I'm building a slabby 750 race bike at the moment. Its a 1986 model so has the longer swingarm. I was having a bit of a clearout in the shed and found an old 1985 GSXR 750 swingarm I'd forgot all about (could have saved myself £50 buying a swingarm) So my question is - is the shorter swingarm better for trackdays / racing at short circuits - Mallory Park mainly, with a couple of rounds at Cadwell and Three Sisters - all tight and twisty (apart from a couple of straights at cadwell) I know Suzuki put the longer swingarm on because some riders found the handling a bit twitchy, but I would have thought that the shorter swingarm would work better on short tracks? Is there that much of a difference between the two? I don't mind the rear tyre sliding around a bit, but when the front tyre starts sliding..............

So how is that race bike coming along?
We're always looking for more entries with the Earlystocks.
