hi i have a B6 that i want to tart up a bit. i have 750WP front end and rear wheel. i was going to buy a B12 swingarm which i believe is a straight swap(?) and change the front end complete. my biggest problem is it's my main bike so need to have it plug and play so to speak. my first question is: has anyone used a B12 swingarm with a 750WP wheel and are there any pitfalls i should be wary of?

to make it " plug and play" you need to modify the yokes and change the steering stems before you take the bandit to bits, the b12 swinger fits straight in, the 750 wheel will fit but you might need the 750 disc carrier and caliper, some of the slingshot stuff fits and some dosent, why not get a b12 rear wheel and stuff which will obviously fit the b12 swinger, what shock are you going to use??

thanks for the reply FBOB. i want to use the WP wheels to keep the spokes the same. i do also have a set of B12 wheels, will the B12 front wheel fit in the WP forks with no problems? i hope to use a 1000 K7 shock with appropriate trimming of the B6 airbox. i have a WP as a donor for various front and rear end bits so if the swingarm is a swap out (i don't believe it is, hence the B12 option for a swingarm) i can use that. i also have a B6 steering stem that's had the yoke machined off so it has no "stop" to prevent it puuling out, it's slightly undersize so was hoping to knurl it and pin it to prevent it pulling out, is t his acceptable? sorry FBOB but i have so many questions i need answers for this could get messy!!!!!!!

The 12 wheel will drop straight into the usd's,just use the usd spindle and if you use the b12 discs, then space the calipers by 2mm either side. The 750w/c and b12 use the same 240mm rear disc,so just the b12 hanger and caliper

Do believe cbr1000 shock does. Your need to chop the battery box up tho

If it is a milimeter smaller than the yoke hole then that is too much to take up with knurling, i have doen one that was 0.1 mm smaller.. measure the pin diameter and the hole accurately ... ive fitted 4 gsxr 1000 k7/8 shocks to mark 1 600/1200's...
