What are the best clutch plates for a bandit 1200, just fried mine at Santa Pod. I tried EBC in the past and they were rubbish.

Suzukis own,ive had standard ones in my 150 rwhp b12 for years, raced hillclimbed and sptinted and it just grips, no drama, i had an ebc one in whan i raced it and it lasted 2 6 lap races, went to OEM and solved for ever, with a barnett spring in as well.

Just found the barnett spring on ebay, same as you it says to buy just one. I just hope my steel plates are ok, and its only the fibres that are wrecked.

+1 for the stock plates. I've used aftermarket plates and they're crap.

Still not sure what to do. My steels have blued quite a bit, but don't seem warped, but I don't want to replace the fibres on their own and find the steels are not right and kill the new fibres. I priced new steels and fibres from Robinsons and it came to £212. I cant get a new set of barnett steels and fibres for £165, and I have heard nothing but good about them.

Dunno what u wound up doing? OEM fibers are the best u can buy. Stack all your steels together and stick a light up through th middle of them. If u see any light between any of them. Replace those. If they are not warped, then run them as long as they do not have any hot spots(looks like drops of melted metal on the steels).

I've had standard Suzuki clutch plates in mine with stronger spring. Done 50,000 miles still going strong.
