Just read this thread love the bike did you do the track day ? Any updates Nope wasn't ready on time for the last one I did Just got to sort a small front end problem and get it MOT'd, when I get back off of my holiday to Phillip Island
As for the oil cooler I did a thread over on the bandit forum all about it, here's the link to it, and as b2bc said Torques are excellent for fittings, I always use them now..

That's easy , you take a mates standard legal bike to the m.o.t. station but , this is the important bit . .You use your number plate on it , simples. Have heard it's even easier in Germany but don't quote me on it !!

I was interested the process, as the don't do that in the states . mot inspector looks at everything tyres brakes chain sprockets lights forks all bearings exhaust/db size of registration plate ect ect and needs to have a mot every 12 months if being used on uk roads

It seems a bit over the top. We have a yearly inspection here in oz but its more tyres lights noise.

...judging by some of the absolute sh1tters I've seen riding on the roads in the UK, a more comprehensive annual check should be applied, though I'm still a fan of a small(ish) number plate & decent exhaust note!!
