51 plate Bandit 600 been sat for a while, pulled it out the shed after winter and it wont run without choke, new plugs, new air filter, new battery and flushed out old petrol for new petrol still not any better, pulled of carbs, took out the all the jets cleaning them with carb cleaner spraying it all over like brut 33, stuck it all back together and still same, as soon as its of the choke it just fades out, apart from get a new after shave any pointers

wont run off the throttle let alone idle, as if its air supply gets cut of when choke is turned off, just blurp, blurp, blurp, dead, cleaned out the pilots etc

Could be running too lean, check the vacuum hoses and the rubbers for splits.

Did you soak carbs and blow thru with compressed air?Jets could be plugged solid.Had a situation last year when I took mine out after the winter.Would not run right.Checked carbs all ok.Found the problem after sticking a flashlight down the exhaust.Bloody mice had filled the pipe with sunflower seeds that had been left in the garage!!!Cleaned out then ran great!!!lol.

I am fixing one(a friends b6) at the mo and has the same symptoms. His one is leaking on No4 inlet rubber,so have got to remove them, clean and re-seat them.I'm going to do all 4 while the carbs are off.
