Posting images with Dropbox or from other sites: - Make sure the image you want to post is in your 'Public' folder in your Dropbox folder.
- Put the photos in your 'Public folder' and right-click and select 'Dropbox' then 'Copy public link'.
- Then click the Insert Image button -
- Then paste the address into the Image URL field (paste here):
The 'Alt Text' field is the text you want displayed when the cursor is moved over the image.
- If you have any other questions about Dropbox, check out this link - www.dropbox.com/help
If you're posting images from other sources, just go straight to step 3. on this list. Remember that, in an ideal world, you should have permission from whoever owns the image/ site before posting it on OSS via this last method (aka. hotlinking). Also, you can't be sure that the image will be there in the future. Hope this helps!

I have added a plugin to the site which allows easy insertion of images. You will now see a button on the top left of the screen which says 'Add image to post' just click it and select images from your computer or hosting service. Images are hosted on postimage.org. You can still use the normal system if you wish.

Hello mate. What file size (memory wise, not dimensions) is the image you're trying to upload? The service on the forum has a limit of 5Mb.

It's not worth trying to post anything too big as the forum will automatically resize them. Around 800 pixels wide should be enough.
