Sorry not been on for a while, been busy with one thing and another...popped in to check the talk isn't about cars or anything lol
Anyways
Story goes like this.....mate taught me to ride on his TS125 when we were kids, been mates ever since (around 35 yeasr!!) He, me and another good mate all had GS1000s in the early 80s riding around on Norwich Union rider policies and being knobs lol
He still has his original bike but it's been stood for 17 years as it started smoking quite badly...kids and houses meant it got back burner treatment getting covered in garden furniture and bags of cement in the garage.
Anyway we dug it out....got it to the shed of Yosh and made a start

It has a horrid rack and nasty fairing, which it won't be getting back... turns out the smoking was caused by a busted circlip, gudgeon pin ate a big gouge in barrel so a nice 1100 big bore kit was ordered

people in the OSS know...KNOW how good Kenty is with paint and metalworking.. options were fill it....it would be 2" thick Blow it (forcing tank apart in process) Pull it and risk tearing 34 year old tin.. so this is what he did
