That's looking real nice To be honest wasn't too sure at first, ES750 in standard trim is a bit bland, but this is looking very desirable. Look forward to seeing it completed.

It was offset by 3/8" about 10mm. I bought it from Debben performance, hope that helps

Very nice well done hope she goes well when fired up ,as you say they dont normaly relay them sounds like it doesnt like the extra draw of second horn does it do same if you leave either horn connected or only one way round .if same either way i would suspect the horn button not making good contact .

Thank you for the comments. It's almost there just waiting until its completely finished to put the final pics up! Yep that's the bike Ash! Thank you. The timing needs sorting and I'm sorting out the brakes at the moment, then just waiting for my speedo cable to arrive and that should be it I found one issue the other week that needs sorting too, on full lock the headlight brackets on the forks just touch the tank. As you said Dylan it was the switch, i took the horn switch apart a couple of weeks ago and found one of the ball bearings in the switch had somehow found its way into the wrong place and was effectively creating a short sometimes. I put it how it should be and re-assembled it and the horns work all the time now The chain is now fitted, and I fitted a new oil pressure switch as the old one was not working. Just deciding which stickers to put on and whether to go with the big Suzuki stickers on the tank or no stickers on the bike at all??

Nearly two years from when I started this and the end is in sight Big thank you to Garry (Fbob) for sorting the engine and getting it running again Just got to: - Bleed the rear brake - Put stickers on tank and tail - Sort the rev counter issue - Get a number plate, MOT and tax When the weather is better I will roll it out the garage to get some better pictures :icon_thumright: Nice shiny torque arm cheers to kickstart Rev counter starts at 2k and doesnt move as much as it should when the bike is revved Not too keen on the blue hoses but they were a near new set I had so saved a bit of money.

i had the same problem when firing up my EFE for the first time after a few years. It cured itself after some time (a few hours with the engine running).
Bike is looking good by the way.

Okey dokey, I will see how the rev counter goes and hopefully it will cure itself as yours did.

I've been busy at work and lazy not finishing off the last few bits! so whilst I had some time off over christmas did the last few little bits. Before any stickers With stickers - Suzuki on tank and there is a yoshimura sticker on the tail piece which can't be seen in any of the pics i took smiley-rolleyes008 Need to source a fitting for the oil cooler hose as it touches exhaust at moment so is cable tied out way New vs Old Unfortunately new won yesterday Project bike wouldn't start despite having started on the button every time before it wouldn't start yesterday. I will have to have a look into it tomorrow. Bled the rear brake today, just need to bleed it again tomorrow as there was still some air in the system smiley-rolleyes008 and the brake pressure switch wasn't working but I think this was due to there not being enough pressure. Swapped the rear sprocket around to give a bit more clearance between frame and chain. Swapped the rivet link around so it doesn't catch on frame, and doesn't catch on tyre. Should rivet it at some point! Jacked it up a little. Need to fit chain guard. I have fixed some bolt heads to the lockstops so the headlight brackets don't touch the tank on full lock, however the steering lock to lock is now reduced quite a bit. May have to re think this/decrease size of bolt head

nice quality build.
One thing though, it looks like a car has hit it up the rear. The swingarm should be 30cm longer or the seat unit 30cm shorter.

Happy New Year! Martin - the mudguard is from a Honda hornet (Newer style with USD's), they come up on ebay every so often! Captain chaos - I know what you mean, but the swingarm is only slightly shorter than the original. I don't think the picture angles are very good either, looks ok in the flesh. The rev counter had gone down to just above 1k but when I ran it again it went up and doesn't move freely still as you can see in the video. Hopefully it will cure itself as you said after a few hours running Bled the rear brake, but I think the screw threads for the bleed nipples have gone in the caliper body as they were leaking when I was bleeding the brake. I will check today to see if any more fluid has leaked from the bleed nipple screw threads now they are tightened up. Got a little blow at the join where the exhaust cans join the headers but that can be sorted easily Just the oil cooler hose to sort and the chain guard to fit now then book in for MOT when the sun is out! Here is a little video of the bike running, it's taken me two days to upload because of the rubbish internet
