hi all this is my 88 gsxr750 ...think its about the 6th 750/1100 gsxr from the same year .
ive had it for bout 3 months now and im just doing bearings and chain and sporckets on it so while im waiting I thought I would paint it as the colours is made me sad in the pants. also seat cowl
how it looked last week.
and a few pics from this week in the evnings.
also fitted 6 pot calipers and front braided lines and full Akrapovič exhaust ......spits flames now haha

yeah but bot the best kit ive used.others are all separate parts and easy to get around the shape of the fairing but this one the big round decal was 1 bit and it was hard to get over the side fairings and stared lifting once I sprayed the clear coat.

think next on the list is a 5.5" wheel swap and maybe k5 rear shock. anyone recommend a rear wheel .to match the front ..think its called twsisted spoke

750L/M or 1100 L/M/N rear wheel fits. Just use all the spacers and stuff from the donor bike.
Nice looking E34 by the way. What engine?

LS1 FTW.
Owned a few BMW's myself, one day I would like an E28 again. But the bikes are taking all my time and money now.
My first GSX-R was an '88 750, completely stock, including the red&white paintjob. Stayed like that for one week, then I installed an 1100 engine. Best mod ever for a 750.

Best mod ever for a 750. yes would love to do the 1100 swap one but the motors cost heaps here as there is a racing class of cars like scalled down versions of the real falcon and holdens and they all run gsxr1100 motors . unless I found one over seas (postage would be shit loads) or buy a hole bike.
