After fannying abut for ages trying to decide what to do with it, finally got going on it tonight for an hour. Got the frame back from the powdercoaters last week and as they had kindly not masked the bottom bearing like i'd asked I had to wait a week for new taper rollers to turn up from eb*y. Only 9 quid for top and bottom so cant gumble too much really Then had to spend what felt like an eternity with various taps cleaning threads out (and forgot to do the ignition barrel threads, any ideas on relocation??) Got the fork lowers painted, loosely bolted my subframe brackets on to admire them (!) and put the front end on. Swinger and subby will be going back on when the engine has had a coat or two of PJ1 and gone back in. Should happen at some stage next week!

I know that unless you put cardboard in the stem and bearings here in Nz they will just powder coat the shit out if everything...... Takes a wee bit of time to clean it all out
