I would go with a bandit motor, bandit motor has better cams for turbo use, back cut transmission, and a more turbo friendly 9:1 comp ratio. mods for 200hp would be busa pistons, lock-up clutch with steel basket 4 coil spring hub. my own experience with a bone stock bandit motor let me run 12psi draw thru mr turbo set-up for a long time with water injection, at 14psi i did break a piston. hope this is helpful

Gsxr has a stronger gearbox (also back cut) and better/stronger clutch If you dont have a engine yet than a theepot 1100 is something to think about (cheap and very good gearbox,2nd gear last much longer)

Maybe thats why my 2nd gear exploded after 63,000 miles, 43,000 miles with the turbo?

(2nd gear is for all oil cooled engines a weak point but whit some engines it is a bit less of a problem......but still a weak point)
GSX1100F engines are cheap so that is why i point them out to you Have more power than a Bandit but less than a GSXR and the gearing is not the same as a GSXR I run a 1100 F whit a 1100M head and bumpsticks and 38mm carbs........good engine but not as fun as a good gixxer engine (was very cheap and it is my spare engine)
Problem whit the gsx1100f engine is the clutch It wont disengage as good as a Bandit or GSXR,they pull and shifting to neutral is a pain (must be done while still driving) I have a GSX1100F in my bike and did the clutch mod and put in a diagram spring and the clutch is much better than a stock one but still it does not disengage as good as a Bandit or GSXR (must be something to do whit the helical gears on the crank and clutch) Most of turbo gixxers here in Holland use these engines I have seen pics of very bad pitted gears but still they did not jump 2nd gear

You need early busa pistons as newer ones have smaller gudgeon pins.

I hoping these will not break like my stock 2nd gear in my bandit motor did, this set is a billet set from robinson industries.
