Hi All,
I've had my modified 1100K since 2008. I was originally looking for a 600cc sports bike, but a colleague was selling the Suzuki and after viewing and a test ride, I simply had to buy it.
I was pretty much sold when I turned up and the bike was warming up on the stand, the deeper engine note with minimal silencing had me hooked. Then during the test ride I realised I wasn’t getting cramp in my legs after 15 minutes. Add to that the fact it was half the price of the 600s I was looking at, and 1/3 of the cost to insure and l had no excuses left.
For the first couple of years I used it a lot including a couple of track days. However, 3 years ago I went abroad for work, the bike was put into storage and even after getting back marriage, a house purchase and a new baby have robbed me of the time and spare cash to put it back on the road.
I’d got as far as replacing the front discs, upgraded the front master cylinder to a Hayabusa item to match the callipers and replacing the worn standard bars with some Harris clip-ons.
Now, I’m shortly to move to Germany for a new job and have a dilemma whether to sell it on or take it with me. I’ll post more in the appropriate forum later.

I'd say keep it.
But I bet its right hand drive, and they do it all round the other way on the continent.
Best I look after it for you.

Yes, it's fairly standard looking. The mods are the front brakes that I already mentioned, a Bandit 1200 swingarm (I think), and an aftermarket rear shock. Am based in Worthing, at least for a couple more months. Sounds like I should keep it (but guess was always going to get that answer on here). Here's a pic back from 2008.

Sorry, been flat out most of this last week getting our house ready to rent out.
I'm in Tarring so not too far away.
If it was more original, I'd hunt down a set of white wheels, but as other parts have been modified, I've felt less compelled to.
If I was to take it to Germany, I'd have to change the clocks as they're mph only. Think I'll get it insured and MOT'd next month so that it's ready to go to Germany or be sold if I change my mind.
Any suggestions of what it would be worth roughly?

My father in law lives down that way... how long are you going to Germany for cause there is another possibility of leaving the bike here ready for when you get back??
