Hi All
Any ideas about how to get the lower engine mounting bolts out?
Have snapped heads off and looks as if they have never been out.....

Just drill them out? Take care not to drill the whole bolt length or else you might end up adding an extra sump ventilation hole..

They are the ones with the odd ednuts
I'm in the west mids. I have splashed out on some posh drills and am developing the patience of a saint.
If I do screw it up I'll take pics....

If I do screw it up I'll take pics.... Cool.. oss-popcorn If the bolts are moving about and making drilling difficult, you could fix their position by inserting a wedge (carve something up from a piece of wood) from below in there between the teardrop nut and the case.

If your down to drilling invest in left hand drills and drill in reverse, the heat, pressure, and anti clockwise direction sometimes makes stuff screw out

And most importantly - use a centre punch before drilling. The more central you drill the bolts , the less chance of ruining mount threads.
