Hi all, I'm a newbie here and to Suzuki, but not a newb to bikes. I've had many bikes over the years, but just bought my first ever Suzuki late last year to do some historic racing here in Australia. My wife and I both race and have a number of bikes each; I currently have a ZX10 race bike, a 1980 RD350LC historic race bike, a ZRX1200 road bike and a TE511 dirt bike. The GSXR is a 750 T, which is classed as a Premodern historic bike in my home state, NSW. Over the past 6 months, I have been sorting the suspension and slowly tidying it up, including fixing the beaten up fairings and giving them a new coat of colour and I raced it last weekend at the Barry Sheene (memorial) Festival of Speed at Sydney Motorsport Park (the old Eastern Creek Raceway). It is a bit down in power (and I'm a bit larger/heavier than the average racer) so it could do with (desperately needs!) an engine freshen up; but, I was toying with the idea of putting a water cooled GSXR 1100 engine into it (or possibly even an 1100 top end on the 750 bottom end) to give it a bit more mumbo. I heard this forum is full of useful info and quite a few old school Gixxer gurus, so I joined in the hope of gaining a bit of knowledge, so thanks for having me.

Hi and welcome. A guy on the French site www.airhuile.com has put an oilcooled 1100 engine in a SRAD frame.
