Surely a two valve headed valve is going to be much larger than a 4V exhaust valve?

yes but for cylinder head race 24 or 26mm it s okay for an exhaust valve I understand the why but Vance & Hines list the GS1000 valve sizes as 38mm IN / 32mm EX and I believe the stem diameter is thicker also - so, a) there is not a cat in hells chance of fitting two of those in the chamber and b) is replacing 8 guides really cheaper than getting the correct valves + the cost of the valves and guides?
