Just bought one. I thought it will be far more economical to buy my own at £78 from maplin. It's inner measurements are 264 x 164 x 80 so i should easily get 2 flatslides in side. It has a heater & cleans at 42000HZ so should do the job. It's got brilliant reviews too so it better be good. Here's the bad boy, looks very clinical

yep, will do. Hopefully i shouldn't have any fuelling issues after which would make it 200% worth it but we shall see. The bowls are pretty clean already but it's the passageways i can't get to that are the problem. I need something dirty for a before and after.

I think they are a good buy in principle, you'll be cleaning everything in it.
A little sceptical with thr price, but worth a punt even if you only get to use it once. If it sorts your problem out it would have been worth it.
Will get one a little bigger myself in the future., my 38's could do with an internal refesh I'm sure, but I'm in no rush, they get taken apart every year to set up.
Good luck with it.

A bigger one would have been great, there's 6ltr ones on eBay for £130 but I was unsure of the quality and although this is only 2.5ltr it's not a too big a pain in the arse separating them to fit. It wont arrive till wed/thur. I was reading the higher the cleaning frequency the smaller & greater amount of bubbles and better for getting into tiny passageways and this one is 42000khz but a lot of the bigger ones on ebay are 40000khz so my one is a bit more powerful. However the proof is in the pudding so it's an eager wait till then.

Price match only if store is within 20 miles, excludes online orders the b'stards. I might return it & get it another £8 cheaper because i'm a tight fooker

Not sure what to do now as the measurements are smaller than given on the site & confirmed over the phone. Useable capacity is actually 247mm x 148mm x 65mm. This means i should be able to get 2 vm29's laid on their side but with 5mm poking out of the solution. I'm not sure if that's & just turn it over after or if it should all be done in 1 hit. I don't want passageways cleared just for it to then gather elsewhere.

The more I think about it the more it annoys me, I'M taking in to maplins tomorrow morning for a refund as a whole 45mm smaller isn't acceptable. I guess i'll be paying £130 for a 6ltr one instead.
