Took it into maplins, they're sending it back, can take up to 2 weeks for refund back on my card but most likely quicker he said. The search continues, oh & I found it again cheaper still, 3 different people sell the same one with their own name on & I found it for £60 posted, so either way it was going back.

Still not got one yet, I'm now torn between an analogue 15 litre with 360w cleaning power, or a digital 10 litre with only 240w cleaning power but a couple of extra functions (degas and delicates 'no it's not a washing machine') Apparently degas just speeds the initial set up process, however it can be degassed by just running it a cycle or 2 before using it. What do you reckon?

I think this beast will do the job. It's big enough to take a bank of 3 so I can either remove one to fit in all 4 or I just completely separate them. I did find a site selling surplus industrial equipment such as compressors and cleaners etc & had placed a bid on one like this but 45mm deeper and I made an offer, sent 2 messages yet heard nothing for over a week so I bought this instead then the next day I had email saying I'd been outbid and to increase amount. I knew that would happen. Oh well. I added a bottle for scale.

I went with a fine mesh basket to keep things safe as it won't let jets etc fall into the tank. Also I opted for analogue for reliability. It has a 2 year guarantee unlike the one I bid on.

£243 yea not cheap but pretty good for this size. 3-4 goes in this and I've got my moneys worth lol. It'd be good to do cheap cleaning to help it pay for itself. My mate wants his mini's carb done already.
