How much psi/bar can the standard motor take? Most of the motor is safe with lots - pistons / rings are the weak link! Rings lose tension and allow blow-by and ANY detonation cracks ring lands double quick time. I killed mine with sub 10psi. Rods are easy good for 15psi or more if prepped.

I have a set of busa rods ready, will probs upgrade pistons and rings as well, what's the crank good for?

IMO the cranks are fairly bullet proof! Any oil supply probs hitting bearings is usual failure point - overheating pins / melting bearings and soon after rod BE failure then carnage! The cam drive sprocket area on the crank is its weakest point and they will snap here but usually if the chain snaps and locks the crank violently at higher rpms
