So finally getting things organised to get myself back on a bike, got theory soon and training course / test's lined up. Decided I wanted to stick with my oil-cooled suzuki's so have been looking around for a Bandit 6 or similar for a while when one popped up locally to me on facebook recently (care of the OSS facebook group) What ya guys think? It's already got a USD frontend on it, I'm guessing from 750 / 1100 by the looks of it, watercooled swingarm and a few other bit's and bob's Starts lovely every time, engine sounds sweet as a nut, with about 55k miles on it. Dunno what the exhaust is, but it sounds bloody awesome lol. Overall pretty happy with the bike I gotta say, a few little issues I would like to fix / change like the front tank mount rubber needs replacing, Swingarm might have a few issues (see my other thread) possibly ditch the bellypan (never been a fan of those tbh) and maybe change the lights back to the standard B6 chrome jobbie.. (Any idea what kinda job it would be to fit the original Bandit light with USD's?) May also swap out the shorty levers, I'm only a little bloke with little hands lol.. shorty levers make the clutch pretty heavy smiley-rolleyes008 But overall... just happy to be back on a bike soon

And it has the mounts for holding a round headlight too.

Just been looking online and I am pretty certain I'm right about it being from an r6 especially as that original mounting point is at an angle and not straight....bit of an unusual one to use tbh

So finally getting things organised to get myself back on a bike, got theory soon and training course / test's lined up. You been off the road for a while mate?, it's been 6 long years for me. To say I can't wait to get back out there again would be understatement of the century. Aye, been off the road for maybe 8 years now, Really looking foward to getting back on the bike(s). Although always pitfalls / problems to be careful of. Check out my other thread (Waterboiler arm into bandit) and you'll see the kind of troubles I came across with what should have been a nice bike lol.
