once this had been removed made a lexon cover to protect the headlight glass and made sure it was a snug fit

decided to make the mounting bracket so that it would attach to the black bracket that had been used by the previous owner

next step was to make a rough two part bracket from some thin aluminium (final one will be made from stainless steel), the bigger of the two pieces will mount on the 10mm hole in the original bracket fitted to the fairing bracket, and the smaller part wirh the two 6mm bolts will mount on top of the other bracket and will carry the headlight and is slotted for adjustment of the headlight

finally for today i loosely bolted it in place, couldn,t fit the headlight as i had no fixings the right size to mount the headlight to the bracket, that will be remedied when i have a rummage at work tomorrow

hi rusty, got the light off ebay, its a replacement for dominator style but a newer style lense, search under dominator headlight replacement, it was in motorcycle parts, i think it was from some kit car building company, it as high and dip beam along with a sidelight, think it was around 23 quid Big ken x takes me a while to get goin but crack on when i do mate

got home from work a bit early and thought i,d best get on with it so first of all mounted the bracket to the original one that was used before, stuck some closed cell foam around the inside behind the lexon lense before mounting the light to the slotted bracket and bolting to the first bracket, then set the light roughly were i think it should be , may need adjusting yet, then plugged into the loom and hey presto let there be light
