Hey all, Anyone know if there is much (or any) difference between the RWU forks fitted to early slingshot 750's (J Model in this case) and Bandit 600's? Toying with the idea of putting the old RWU frontend from my Slingy into my bandit and then put the USD frontend into the slingy (Or sell it, but need to 100% ID which bike it's from). Anyone got any idea if they would be interchangeable? Or any spec's on length / diameter of the bandit forks? Cheers all

600 bandit 41mm no pre load or damping adjustment, slingy 43mm ang has pre load and damping adjustment... you would need to swop steering stems

I thought prettymuch all the oil-boilers ran the same stem / bearings? Damn, thats a pain in the arse, was hoping I could just drop my old 750J frontend into it and then have the USD front for my slingy (or sell it and get a later model frontend for the slingy)

Length difference? Brake discs smaller on the bandit.

Bandit stems are longer and 600 mark 1's are welded in so its easier to get a 1200 stem and press that in, slingy forks are 25 mm shorter than bandit ones., all slingy stems are the same... simples..
