Hi guys nice to be back. Picked up a Chilli painted srad 750 at the weeked. As normal started to pull it apart for a check over and nut and bolt. All seems really good lots of history and receipts, full Akara titanium system, power commander, rebuilt forks, uprated braking and a dyno chart showing good power. What does bother me is the rear end, sagging a little to say the least. ordered some dog bones to increase my ride height but the shock has seen much better days. In my last Gsxr 1100 build I used a 750K swingarm and a GSXR1000 K3/4 rear shock. It worked great. My long winded question is......is there a suzuki group shock that fits to up rate the standard shock or recommendations of who to use to rebuild the standard if possible, or recommendations for replacement. If money was no object I'd fit an Ohlins, but Budget is always tight. Thanks for reading if you made it this far!! Dom

Thanks for the reply. Decided to go down the rebuild route with a hyper pro or k tech spring. It's around 200 for something that will make it at least as good as it started. From what I remember that was pretty good. Thanks again

Here another puzzle. Just been given a brand new gsxr1000 k1 shock, I knew a guy that fitted one to his srad but at the back of my mind I'm sure the 1000 shock is shorter than the srad and he had, bought or had made a top mount to suit! Any thoughts wise ones?

Thanks rusty I knew it was shorter by about 30 mm. I maybe making my life too difficult by adapting or having a top mount fabricated. Also moved from the midlands to Edinburgh last year so my contact list for fabricators is zero and I haven't bought my lathe up here yet!
