okay ive got a annoying rattle on the tank on the 750l it seems to be the steel fill level/baffle is rattling has anyone else come across this

have you got a borescope to have a look in it ? or find sombody near you ?? and have a look in it ..........

Empty tank, shake up side down, mostly is the filter net of the tap.

not an empty tank its on my daily runner havent got a borescope but know a man who may have one

Have you had the bike long? It could be one of those security datatagging discs after coming unglued from the top of inside tank. I've found a few rattling around in tanks that needed flushing out.

done the screwdriver trick thought originally it was the filler cap ring and the false bolts touching the tank underneath but have rulled out that one and narrowed it down to the flange in the tank

okay the flange has got 2 mounting strips that are spot welded to the sides of the tan k and it seems that one of the spot welds has come loose. looks like im going to have to put up with a annoying rattle a bit like my winging boss really
