I've got a RG500 (photos in the intro section) and the forks are pitted to death, so wanted to upgrade them. I didn't want USD, as I wanted to keep it standardish looking, so I got a set of RWU GSXR600 K1 forks.
I was about to order up a wheel to fit, but reallied it could not run a speedo drive, as the GSXR is electronic.
I have a RGV250 wheel in my garage that runs a speedo drive, will I be able to make it fit as the GSXR runs a 25mm axle, and the RGV is 20mm (I think).
Will I also have problems getting RGV disks to work with the GSXR Calipers?
The only advice I received is go with a complete GSXR front end, and replace the RG500 speedo with an electronic one.
Any help appreciated.
Thanks Ali
